People get signed and dropped all the time, over different genre's... When the next artist maks a big enough buzz, where potential sales can be made... There will be more signings..

There were rumours of him making a grime album next though, maybe after leaving 679 he can do if he gets a bit more freedom

Kano is marketable.. Although.. 679 was a good label for him to be on as they're 'in touch' with the underground market..

Labels want to make sure they have invested properly.. It's a 2 way street.. Not about just giving money away... A few thousand from a single sounds good to us, but that won't scratch the surface on the global sales market... Maybe Kano should take the same route as Sway, with the mixtapes or a while, and show that he can shift units..

The door is NOT closed... They just put a bouncer on the door for now..

kano will get resigned after the success of this is the girl. I think the idea of him coming back to grime is wishful thinking, he seems to have moved off. Wouldn't be suprised to see him on V2 or one of the other subsiduary labels
