First of all big up to hij because the look and feel of this site is very professional!!

The question I am asking is, is this the new home of grime music??

Rwd was by far the only true place to find out sensible info about what was going on in the scene. Since they changed the format I started to see people fucking off to find other places to chat about grime music (vip2, but that never really pulled off and utz was never a place to have sensible disscussions).


Is this now the new home of grime music coz personally I dont really even go on rwd now at all. And also the grimepedia is a brilliant idea which complements this site nicely.

I havent posted much on RWD since this place kicked off, but ive been lurking abit and most of the time the place is full of waste topics "worst mixtape cover typos" or "hi im 8t2 and im fucking mental" so I just figure whats the point? Then come back on here!

I've looked at every post on this forum and It's like every single thread has had a reply and everyone seems to be up for a discussion or cracking a couple of jokes. Even people who have a bit of music to show its like people give people a bit more time of day than on rwd. But I can see soon a shed fool of prats and 2 year olds will soon find their way here and ruin the vibes.

seriously though, I said something that I didn't like and he didn't like it.
If people remember rightly who listened to him on rinse he was the one saying he's going to lick my head of or something.
It's 7 months later and my head is still intact and secure.
I've seen the guy many times... although awkward, it was nothing.
It was never a risky & frisco moment, because I do actually like his music
but don't agree with him blabbering things out at inappropriate moments to the wrong crowd that could be potential new grime lovers ($$).

i think the vibes here are good because it's a designated platform for appreciation of the music, I came to RWD pretty late and it seems like the go-to place for generic rudeboi baiters. And with grimepedia it's a noble project - well done everyone involved.

The site is very good, I just think a main news page (rwd type thing) would top it off, as in a source of reliable information for grime because frankly wikis and forums will always be sources of word-of-mouth or opinion based information, I remember back in the day I used to always be checking the RWD site (not forum) for info on what's happening in the scene and there no longer seems to be a proper source for that.

I just went on to RWD for the first time in ages and it sucks balls. When i began typing this post i didn't want to resort to name calling but there is no other way to put simply how bad it is. I'd rather be forced to listen to Dj Ironik to be honest.

If we do get the waste people coming here, nonsense needs to be dealt with abruptly. What we have here right now is a good thing.
