I'll be pissed man. I've put alot of faith in him. I'm currently hyped about it. I don't kno why but i am. If he flops i think it will seriously effect the scene. but on the other hands would it help the scene in one way if he came with an album for inde heads?

But if its anything like his last few tunes i'll be so pissed ima hack his myspace until he cries..

I think he should allow mixtapes this year because the mixtapes he released have done the job by promoting him, so now its time to release your best stuff on an album

I don't think he would put out an album if he didn't think it was good.

The only problem is what does he think is good these days.

innit frankd, he appears to have lost the plot a bit. but i think if his album is dropping at the end this year maybe a mixtape wouldn't do any harm. I hope he drops his album before the summer tho.

It'll sell even if its shit, cos' the press will hype about it no matter what and its JME who could sell ice to an eskimo

frankD
1st February '08, 12:36 AM
Maybe T-Shirt bars to promote T-shirt sales, since they are his biggest revenue.

I think just wait and see.

I think he is under the radar of the press to be honest.

Wiley got press from a clever Dizzee Tactic.

His lyrics are catchy. after a listen to one of his cd's you always have a verse stuck in ur head. I can remember round the time poomplex dropped people used to think i was mad because i'd just be sitting down saying jme lyrics to myself. then one day when i was waiting to get into some rave this buff girl heard me and was lyk "OMG thats a jme song, thats really cool".. fast forward a bit and i wake up in her bedroom. BIG UP JME 4 GETTING ME GASH!! not that i needed his help!

I told them I'm only going down if they get the internet stream sorted so all of ye ca hear me without stopping and so I can listen when i'm not in london. plus if maxi sees the above bar he won't let me go cos i'll lyrically murk everyone in the place.

I think it could be the biggest independent album in 2008, if it really catches on.

I doubt it will be for big grime heads

tbh if JME had had all these major offers like people round him claim he has, he should take advantage.

He's simple enough for people to appreciate on a superficial level and I dont see him giving the "ive never been into grime" speech, despite his arrogance.

He's got potential that could be fulfilled, despite his javascript-based hype on myspace (like the fact the last page of his friends repeats for about a million times - 75,000 my arse, you neek! be legitimate)

operate outwith the scene and maybe you might catch some ratings. otherwise, fix up and leave the t-shirt bars behind and forget trying to be clever when bumpin H's flow.

Even if its wack and full of t - shirt bars and talk about nandos it will still sell to his thousands of myspace fans.

I can't help but think that even if its bad i'll love it first, then hate it for a bit because its not grimey enough then i'll love if forever.

At least it will be straight grime. He'll probably have a bag of new disgusting beats. Although I really hope his lyrical content is on par with his past releases. I still have confidence though.

Yeah.

If theres gonna be 'single' tunes I beg JME make them like 'Show You(Remix)' which don't sound like some wack bait hip hop bullshit.

Even if it is swag, it will still sell loads because hes got probably the biggest fan base by far out of everyone who is a grime mc.

I think jmes album will be big coz he is very professional, makes big concept tunes which I think knowone else would think up, hes a big producer and even though he is a very basic lyricist he has some very catchy bars, should be big and a good look for the scene.

i really liked that tune

*Plays it Now*

Not the best lyrically, but if you imagine hes drunk when he raps it then its cool lol

it got ratings off bare people round my yard when I span it.

I know its not strictly GRIME, but at least if they come with a Garagey/Dubsteppy 'commercial' tune its not selling out as much???

1st February '08, 08:12 PM
Jme is in a very good position...one of the strongest fan bases in Grime right now.

His album will sell and hes good enough to make a very decent album, which will only help grime move forward.

Myspace fans are fickle.

People try and buy into a look rather than a sound.

What will be will be.
