The last time CDs didn't come, I rang them in the morning (less chance of being busy) and they sent replacement CDs out. If they were replacements, then fair play. But I'm not sure they were.

I really wish people would tell them to fuck off -- a little bit of exclusive money or the number of people thinking "I'd rather download then give UKRS my money"

Actually, I did once use Independance - my order for Tunnel Vision 4 was placed after I ordered 2&3 from UKRS, and it was delivered before 2&3 as well. It's a piss take.

What you should do is phone the bank and tell them you paid for special delivery on [X] date, which hasn't occured and get them to recall the payment. Because they haven't filled their obligation your bank should just attempt to take the money back, unless they're crap.

Also, if you didn't want to make a donation to the site, but you wanted to help, you could stop shopping at UKRS, and start shopping at Uptown and go through the links on our pages to buy the stuff so everyone wins!

We will effectively be working with Uptown to increase their sales and hopefully increase their grime stoke if they see good reason to invest more in it.

Since everyone is slagging them off, I feel obliged to say that I've never had problems with my orders - I haven't been through the complaints procedures etc, but there seems to be more checks now than last year, like Royal Mail tracking codes

Grime just needs more outlets online full stop. Hij's idea is good, and hopefully the thing with Uptown will work and that will increase their stock.

To Hyperfrank though I think you might have been unlucky. Not condoning UKRS, because it should say on their site when CDs etc are in stock or not, but becasue it wasn't really publicised when Peng Food was available you probably ordered it when it was out of stock

I only ordered when I saw various Myspaces advertising it, but I was uncertain about it and it should be made clearer when the stuff is in stock - it really isn't hard

Nah UKRS are a straight pisstake. You can't condone what they do, how ever hard you try.

If they sell something "by accident", and show it as in stock, when it's not.
They could at least mention with in a month that it's not actually in stock, or put some sort of note on what happened. But they don't give a fuck.

Check Scorcher CD, they've been selling it for nearly 2 months, without saying on the page that it's not actually in stock. Or bothering to mention it inbetween.

People slew Avlanche too, but they reply to emails and bother to tell customers if a product isn't in stock, and give updates on how it's going.

I've been waiting for a little over a week for them to send my CD's. The Order History still says Processing, usually that goes away in a few days and turns to Complete. Meaning they haven't sent them yet. I've never had any trouble with them before. I should wait for a little while, but I hope they send them soon, 'cause it's a pain in the ass to call them or send them a (postal) mail (lol) if they don't answer my mail soon.
