Johnny Guns is/was part of that GG vs PYG shit so he's popular because of that shit really, i reckon its more people viewing them because of the beef rather then to hear him spit, but now he's on music properly so its going to be for his music now

like that Sneakbo tune 'Hold Yuh', it now has 73,052 views in 2 weeks, video's that have been up for about 6 months by a popular channel like GrimeDaily don't even have that many

main rappers from East are Mashtown, the East vs North hype and the beef between different parts in East, all the kids are excited about that shit, checking video's, comments, etc daily..

It's because of three things:

1. The talent is now being put out there.

When MT first started dropping their shit, people outside of east/hackney weren't really getting it. Ask anyone from Hackney and I know they'll tell you they've heard of It Only Gets Better, and if not definitely SPORTS (Stay Poor Or Run The Streets). Tings were quiet cos Margs went bin for a couple charges.

Now he's back out, starting to put the work in, Asco joined the squad, went on westwood and got a buzz around his name.

"I killed westwoods, and now they're calling me top 3"

When Mashtown first went on there, and Margs ripped it up. I read every single comment posted. And it almost became a game of name the top 3 including Margs somewhere. People were saying Giggs could learn a thing or two. People were saying Margs & Giggs - top 2. Bare Hackney heads sayin it's time MT got some recognition. Even guys who had beef with fields were saying "Margs is a pussy, fuck LF but this is hardd". Talent is undeniable.

2. Beef

MT have always been in beef. From Young spray/tottenham to the other gangs in Hackney. Got them attention as they were always being called out. Check Fellows, Ballance/E9, Young Spray, everybody calling them out in their videos. It brings attention but at the end of the day not 120,000 people view the video. They view it to see the hype and wag1, and they feel the music and listen again and again.

Like I listened to that fellows court banger riddim to see what Chidi/Sosa was saying about Asco, and since then I've probably listened to the track about 15-20 times cos I like the beat and some of the bars are good - as much as I hate the guys rapping. And they aren't even all that. So think of it from their side, MT/Margs IS actually good so they'll definitely listen more.

3. Connects.

MT got the connects muh'fucka!

MT/Margs always buck up with the big names/Big names holla and they get tracks done, and their fans listen/are brought in on margs too.

Examples are:

Konan and Krepts Tsunami Wave - Margs is featuring. K&K's fans who may not have heard of margs/felt it will listen and be brought it.

K-Koke sticky where I come from ft Margs

Youngsta, Dot'm and Fem Fel ft Margs - 24 Hours

J-Spades ft Margs - Crime Scene

J-Spades ft Margs - Warriors

Warriors video shoot - K-koke, G Money, 2G, Frostman, etc

A new problem has always been a banger from it was first released. I've listened to that track on youtube about 500-1000 times (srs).

At the end of the day you can't deny talent. If a rapper's hot, and he's the word on the curb, people WILL holla and check it out. And you won't get 100k+ views from just people locking in to see the road hype.
