there was something about a first new website that is backed by major labels to give away music for free.
it said that the website will be getting payed by big companies like mcdonalds for advertising and that a cut from the money they make of advertising will go to the labels and artists.
is this the future of music?
alot of ppl in the industry have been saying this for a while now.
if so do you think club music like grime/dubstep/drum and bass/electro ect... will go the same route because if it was then the producers of these genres would be in serious trouble when it comes to trying to make a living of of their music.
thoughts?
