Thats one of the biggest things, lot of people seem to get confused as to whether we should be rivalling hip hop and rap (the bait hip hop movement) or other types of music such as electro and dance (the whole host of tunes now out after wearing my rolex).

whoever is able to do something fwd like, get dat vibe but with grime, specially telling non-booked mcs to fuck off, and booking djs with some thought put in, to build some sort of climate nd atmosphere, instead of gettin 3 djs dat will chop the shit out of all tunes for 6 hours, gets my major props nd financial support to keep it goin lol

Well jus like Drum n Bass and FWD, the promoters only allow the mic when the mc/artist is booked, if theres mc mobbing the mic, you get a everyone paying attention to the front and not raving.

With the raves its decent if there's lots of good rave MCs on stage, its just when you get guys who are swag/aren't rave emcees that it gets shit. i agree there needs to be a limit on who's allowed the mic.

I've also thought. Why don't MCs just do rave/radio style sets and release them on CD for a couple of quid each? That way the MCs who aren't artist material can still get shit out there and the fans get tunes.
