we'll always be known as a grime forum though and people in the scene appreciate a "grime" forum, grime awards etc.

i think in theory would be possible to merge the two sites together one day if it seems appropriate. Not setting up Greeze Forum to start the demise of GrimeForum!

but sharing databases is pretty difficult, as we're looking to use the newest vBulletin software with it, although we could look at using the same version as here, but would create more work for eventually upgrading Grimeforum to newest software when it's easy to get all the skin/styles across.

Re-branding could be troublesome. Not because of the technical side of such a thing, but because of the task of finding a name that isn't GrimeForum but isn't something retarded like GreezeForum, ArdForum or whatever else people that shouldn't be trusted to name sites have suggested.

UKRapForum works because you can easily split up more traditional UK Hip Hop from UK Gangsta Rap.

grimeforum should stay as grimeforum IMO. this "road rap" forum or "UKHH" or whatever it's going to be called needs it's own forum. as other people have said, you will have hip hop/rap fans pissed that their favoured genre is a sub-forum of GRIME forum. wouldn't work to have them both together IMO.

not sure greezeforum is the name to use but i have no better idea. the name is irrelevant though really, as long as they have a source for their favoured genre they wont care what it's called.
