games are worse i guess
music just tells you about experiences
Games allow you to do it firsthand(virtually)...

'They say we're promoting guns,
Well computer games do the same on a console you can actually be loading one
So who's to blame?...'
Ghetts
Everything - music, games, TV influence to some extent
Grime MCs are street people, I would expect them to talk about it to some extent.
What annoys me is when someone goes 'freedom of speech' etc, think it shows a lack of responsibility. Sometimes MCs can spit about it in a better way, I don't expect a Nas 'I Gave You Power' tune but still
Anyway maybe games influence more, cos grime is a music that is mostly listened to by the same sort of person who would make it. In grime a lot of these bars are for hype as well
Ultimately its down to you innit, your responsible for what you play/listen to really

Not the DJ, the individual I meant
btw 'I Gave You Power' is off of Nas' second album 'It Was Written'
produced by DJ Premier
basically he raps from the perspective of a gun, like he gives it a voice

Quite a character

rap is more influential by far. im not a stupid guy but when i listened to juelz santana there was a niggling at the back of my mind that made me want to 'move weight on the strip' lol

yeah computer games are more obviously removed from reality, same with films
rap/grime music (although 99% of it is actually just as fictional as films & games) would be easier to believe as being true as artists are being themselves rather than playing characters
if you get what i'm saying.....
