Went to ASDA Midnight release and picked one up. Been playing for a few hours, its extremely good. The city feels so real and the attention to detail is phenomenal. The city feels like it will run even when you turn off the game. Story is engaging and etc... will post more once I have some more hours in it.

I dont like the fact if you fail a mission you have to drive for another 5 mins only to fail at exactly the same place as before. what happened to the drive skip thing on SA, fuck a text message! I'm also bored of the "chase mr wasteman and kill him" missions where they get a head start.

Also minor issues with aiming and the cover system "lock on to a target who is behind a wall whilst in cover and take bigger chunks out of the wall than you do him."

I like this game but it has been over hyped, the multiplayer is brilliant though.

This IS the best game i have ever played, BUT there are a few things that bother me...

1. Interiors. What happened to all the interior locations? i swear there was meant to be bare, it seems like there is only a handfull.

3. Missions. They all seem to be the same thing, "go there, kill that person, report back to me". With San Andreas there was alot more variety, for example having to scare that guy tied to the windscreen of your car, catching mad dogg when he tries to commit suicide, putting out house fires etc etc etc.

4. Things taken out. I swear there was a whole load of things that were meant to be in the game that have been taken out? the cable cars along the bridge? climbing telephone poles? catching the bus?

5. Money. Whats the point in having money if you cant buy anything or invest in anything? Just seems abit silly to have money for no reason.

But like i said, it IS the best game ive played, but its not perfect.

this game wasnt overhyped everything that was supposed to be in there is in there.

I agree, the thing is with those missions they are 'fun' the majority of the missions on IV are just not that fun... they are more like a chore "oh no not another chase mission."

No I don't think it was, if you call fun doing 80% of the mission and then failing just because you fall of a bike or a pedestrian gets in the way, which then means you have to go through the whole thing yet again. Their is too much room for error with the last mission.

If it was divided into checkpoints where you could start again at particular point, without having to repeat all of it over and over it would be so much better.

I'm sure it's a fun missions to watch put to actaully play it is another story.

Nah the last mission was shit, after Whats The Score told me what to do it was nothing!!!!

There was no missions like the police chase in san andreas where you go through the billboard or the helicopter mission in vice city.......they got very lazy with the missions, they showed some promise with the sniper missions and the ones with the choices but the other missions were boring.....I just got cabs to all of the missions

Oh sorry man, getting rid of the wanted level was a bitch on the mission, my only advice is to stay off the bridge and highways.......hit the small streets and allyways.....park up somewhere when you out on the radar and jam

take lots of turns
break into your turns well and avoid crashing... the police will rely on speed so will crash on your well executed corners. you will end up building up a good distance plus be at a pace where you can avoid other cars by checking your radar. once out of range stay still providing there are no other cars about. then enjoy the drive home.

And Its just been announced that PS3 is getting its own version of downloadable content. Rockstar never signed a contract saying microsoft will get all dlc but they would get exclusive dlc.

Also, microsoft never paid 50 million, they just lent them it in advance with very little interest. and in return they would get the dlc.

If you kill the police guy then you get nothing.
If you kill the other guy then you get the police guy to call and get rid of 1 police star. So not much difference really. Plus you lose the ability to call him after you complete the game anyway.
