Not pressing up the cd, just having the music ready to go all mixed down and mastered?

Because some people seem to think they need millions to do what they want to and other people say they could do it for 2 grand etc.

2 grand is still a lot of money, especially when you aren't sure if you're gona make your p back.

I was gonna make a thread kinda on the same subject but I wont waste a thread now.....

Have I got this right?:

?600 - ?650 for pressing up 1000 CDs, including cases and cover printing

?3.50 to the shops direct sale or maybe on sale or return if you're nobody

Depends on people and prices really... Beats here go from ?7 pounds up, and studio time... some people prefer charging for a track and go from ?5 up, others charge an hour... from ?5 up.

Hope i haven't messed up the exchange rate.

I can remember on some special 1xtra weekend they were sayin Lethal B had a ?100,000 deal (may have been 150). That had to cover everything though, studio, mastering, samples (I know they were askin for something ridiculous for the stevie wonder sample, like ?20,000), videos, advertising, pressing.
