Hosting an all grime night will just be a man fest! It doesnt work anymore as we and everyone has been saying there isnt enough club bangers and whats the point of reaching a club with no gal? Its all good for the music reh reh i know. But man dont wana go skank out with other mans. A Bassline/Good Garage DJ is needed to attract girls these days regardless if you like the music or not. Dont know if any of you have been to Sidewinder last few times but they were dead due to the lack of gal, and with lack of gal people just want to fight it seems lol. Dont make the mistake of an all Grime night.
Tootsi

For a bassline dj i'd say Rekless or Dexplicit,
Holla at me for the grime and dubstep

Dexplicit doing a mix up set of grime and bassline would be dutty.
Otherwise check Paleface, TRC, Virgo and Apostle for bassline ... not sure if Virgo could play both aswell

I ain't heard from Rossi or Luca since they left Rinse, they even still on radio? They are good though still
Check out Live Agents, the booking agency they're with and see what other bassline DJs are on the books

You could get at bok bok or oneman for the bassline, both play it and they'd probably be quite cheap.
you could get at http://dot-alt.blogspot.com for bok bok, mixes it up with a bit of old school grime as well.

someone like sketchE would be decent as well

BTW do you want to take the banner from the top and your man can re-size it?

djs are getting hustled in the scene.
I wana help balance the focus between DJ and MC. If DJs want MCs on their set, I would encourage them to bring them.
Grime events have become way to reliant on the MC.... If the focus shifted a bit in the favour of DJs these events would be more pheasable and more regular.
Look at Dubstep. All really DJ based, they get booked all over, reasonable pricing, and its spreading the sound.
Grime MC puts out one song on Logan (not even a mixtape) and they are trying to charge 8 bills for a booking lol

the DJs have been receptive to it as well, which is the most important tingz, coz if they didnt believe the same, there would be no point.
From time everyone listens to these DJs every week on radio, but aint coming to their raves. Thats a problem
