MCs without a good voice

To be honest, an MC can have the deepest deepest on another level bars but if they don't have the right voice for it I just can't listen to them. Seriously, that's why I can't listen to a lot of these new MCs to come through in late 2006/early 2007.

They would be sick ghost writers though, but no one would rate the MC spittin coz they'll say they don't write their own bars. So? I know it ain't Pop but most singers don't write their songs they buy them. May be that's a way to make P from Grime?

Edit: Yeah I can't remember who said it but flippin it's the same the other way round, MCs can have some wack bars but they will get away with it coz their voice is sick when it comes to spittin. Skepta when he FIRST starting spitting is a great example. I know their wheel ups but "Draw for the tool, think I'm a fool, draw for the mash, still wanna clash" doesn't cut it. Obviously after a few months he started to improve big time but his MC voice helped a lot.

It's also the reason Scorcher, Young Dot, etc are so sick and Skepta can get away with such weak bars.
