ChockABlock is back people and this time they are brought to you by proud sponsers, BOXFRESH clothing. If you have ever been to a ChockABlock event, then you will know what we are all about, if you haven’t just expect a lot of gunfingering and skanking to the sounds of; GRIME among other genres!

They welcome everyone from ‘hood’ folk, to indie kids, as long as you like a good time in grime, then we urge you to come along. Remember, its FREE all night.
They are heading back to our resident nightspot EGG in Kings Cross on Friday 28th August via ALWAYS FRIDAYS for a pre-carnival special. Line up as follows…
Headlining will be grime MC and hype man TEMPA T. Funky kid of the moment, DOTSTAR. Wiley protoge ICE KID, alongside DJ MAGIC of Dirty Canvas. Everyones fav funky chick, COOLY G. Rinse.fm’s funky up and comer, ROSKA. Butterz bloggers and all round grime corers, ELIJAH & SKILLIAM. Slew Dem Crew’s DJ SPOOKY. Bassline specialists from Birmingham aka SWIFTA BEATER B2B DJ ACE. M-TEX B2B DJ JEEZY, who will be throwing down an exclusive funky vs bassline set. COPS & BALLISTIK, from Better Never Than Late (BNTL) blogging crew and DJ COMPLEX B2B SKEAMER, who will be mixing and blending everything from grime and funky, to bashment and Hip Hop.
The event will be filmed by up and coming star SMOKEY BARZ of SB.TV, whils photography comes from MATT BENSON from Better Never Than Late, whose work has been published in Artrocker Magazine and more.
There will be competition giveaways courtesy of BOXFRESH given away on the night for best ’skanker’ (dancer)* and more. Get your dancing shoes ready!
Admission: *100% FREE ENTRY ALL NIGHT* (get there early)
