It was so sudden.

I played GTA for like 2 hours. No probs...Then my housemate asked to play pro, put in the disc and BLAOW. Xbox made some funky noise and froze,


FUCKING PISSED.

When does GTA4 come out? Will my xbox get fixed in time???????4

Yeah. You can either call Xbox with the number from the manual. And that gets done pretty quick.

Or if it's less than a year old then you can get it changed at the shop if you can still find the reciept.

29th April mate, if this was me I'd just go out and buy an Elite and then get the orginal 360 fixed and trade it in or sell it, sod missing out on GTA.

It turned about to a hdd problem lost a couple saves but the xbox is working fine, guess im kinda lucky

I almost did buy the elite as well just thought lemme ring them first

Seriously though I was gonna have to do that yesterday, had my 360 on standby and moved it around abit so the wires were not twisted, looked at the front and I had 3 lovely red lights staring at me.

Turned it off and took all the wires out and plugged it back in and everything is cool now, thank fuck!

CD DVD drive wont even open

Ive had that happen a few times, came back to it an hour or so later and it works fine.

i had the 'ring of def' as its dubbed just send it back to microsoft and they repair it.

they had to extend every1s warranty and extra year cos of all the incidents...

They included three months live and 2100 points cos they knew i was fiending for GTA.

I think my 360 just commited suicide :dead: I brought a wii yesterday and just turned on my 360 and I now have the ring of death, I think it got jealous....

Fuck sake I can't afford to go and buy a 360 now I just spent £300 on a wii plus games, oh well just gonna have to wait till it is fixed.

Yeah, is a pain it's over the weekend and bank holiday monday. Should get the stuff through Tuesday, then you just gotta have a box big enough to put it all in, but not the 360 box.

What the fuck is all this sending stuff off to Germany shit?!?!?

My mate is getting his fixed up cause he's been too lazy for months. And he got the postage stuff to send it to Germany...

When i did mine, time back when 360 was launched or within 6months of having it after launch, i just sent it to some place in UK, dunno if they sent it on though... AND!! They sent me the box, stickers etc to put the 360 in. But then less than a year after that they didn't send out a box or stickers to put the 360 in which is a bit lame.
