Because I think it's awful. Even by generic electro standards, it's dry as fuck. I think, given some time and consideration, wiley could have done something much better that would have had mainstream heads turning. It sounds like a bunch of loops casually arranged like a construction kit.
And it's no secret I loathe bless beats' productions.

I agree with you that technically compared to other popular dance themes "wearin my rolex" is pretty basic and dull. But it is getting it's hype from the fact that Wiley is spittin on it and also the basic fact that it is stupidly catchy.

The original is swag and the remixes are even worse.
"Rolex sweep" is worst thing since "Heartache Avenue" with a bullshit homo Macarena dance to match.......begging it.
Is this Grime now???....because Logan play's it????
This is the euro-trash equivalent to bait Hip Hop IMO.

I've got a load of bassline grime remixes. Half of them are awful- Pow, old Alias tracks, that P Money one. Couple are alright though.

Funky scene is talking up some next beat as the new night lately. It's not bad though, I could see it getting dropped in grime easy.

Agent X have been massive for time.
Theres gonna be a lot worse remixes than this about as well, every electro producer wannabe has their hands on it. Wait for the release, it's already huge.

I prefer the agent x remix to the original. At least it has some energy to it even if it does sound fairly generic bassline.
also to elijah, i've heard it when i've been out and its still shit. Sounds like the rest of the shit you hear on a mainstream friday/saturday night out

Why does Wiley persist in getting signed then rebelling against them when they take control
unless that was a joke then its funny too
