what im asking is who is your personal 3 favourite MCs and why... not necessarily who the 'best' is, but just your favourites. this is meant to be a positive thread, not everyone sending for eachother and cussing eachother opinions. hopefully it will build up into a niiiiiice collections of the best grime tunes and some DECENT discussion. maybe some of you guys will learn about mcs you havnt taken much notice of before, im hoping i will.

probably the longest guy next to d double when it comes to actually releasing material. but the potential is there. most people wont have heard more than a couple of tunes and radio appearances. but if you can really acknowledge potential and skill, rinse is the one. imo rinse vs jeeday was so much more interesting than goodz vs wiley (again). to me, rinse is fucked because he spits as hard as anyone but with content which is abstract to the grime scene. listen to the tune above. i swear down that was actually written from my perspective. take the references to music as a metaphor for graphic design/illustration and boy... its always something when you feel a personal connection with certain music. watch this guy in the future swear down.

i know p money has a following now but seriously imo this guy is still so under rated. concepts, flows, aggression, singalong bars and just a general next level of fuckery. every release p money has done has had a sufficient amount of serious bangers. from the free downloads to his album to the OGs cd. ALWAYS delivers on tunes and radio. i can not fucking wait until his next CD comes out. p money is just fucking LOUD, which i think is something a lot of mcs now are lacking. fucking LOUDNESS.

1) Black The Ripper - My favourite MC. Just overly fucked Imo. His energy/vibe/aura on a track is too much. Blac is beautiful is and has always been my favourite mixtape from him and considering that was when he was 17 (iirc), as well as being a free download, that shows the potential he has. If anybody hasn't heard Black Is Beautiful, you can download it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/mv60d1 . I can relate to most of the stuff he spits which is partially why I listen to him so much. I share alot of the same views as him. He lays down concepts and stories on some tracks and on others he'll go all out with anger and rage in his vocab, tone etc. His delivery is sick too. I haven't liked much of his latest stuff like Afro Samurai and a little bit of Summer Madness but the next track I hear it restores my faith. Just a sick MC tbh although he admittedly prefers hip hop to grime.

2) Ghetts - Rate him just as much as I rate BTR, maybe a little less. Best in the scene though, easily.

3) Ice Kid - Work rate is piss poor but he's an OVERLY fucked MC. The anger, delivery, vocab etc this yout has got. Angry youts = Grime. So fucked.

wiley - the best flow in the game fullstop and hes got a good voice on him, a thing about mcing is the that you got to have a good voice if you dont then you in trouble. to me he is grime and theres probadly not gonna like him really.

p money(aka ghetts worst nightmare)- is everything really,flows,timing,voice,killer hooks,content the lot!, i thing in two years time he'll be next king of grime i thing hes the only mc who probadly wiley in a live clash. wiley says he not far behind ghetts well i think hes flew past him tbh cuz this alone its been all about pmoney.

maxsta- even though i fought he loss against kozzie only because kozzie HAD the better tune i listen to him couple times now and i think hes the one to watch.
