Has anyone witnessed any?
If so have you enjoyed them and how is the experience different from the usual 'rave' scene.
I haven't seen too many: I've seen J2K,Ghetto, Scorcher, Wretch, Bashy and one or two more that I can't pick out of my head at the moment.
Is there any surprise that a lot of these performances are taking out by a lot of the mcs who also touch on a more hiphopy edge?
I've heard BBK have done a couple live band shows but haven't yet to hear them.
I think it's all quite a good thing shows the music in a whole different light.

It's not a very good concept.
Plus not all MC can cope with a live bad.
Just another extension 'creativity' that we don't need in the Grime scene.

yep yep
i seen kano last year, he had a full live band behind him, let me tell you the guitarist was a bad man for playing how he did.
At one point Kano left the stage while the lights when dark blue and the band jammed away playing signs in life for a few minutes. It was Big.

No real grime performances here in the US, at least none I know of, unfortunately.

I dunno, there's those Soul Champion crews, stumbled onto the website a while back. Don't know how active they are but there seems to be a few of them on it like.

That video of Double S with someone on the guitar and drums is sick, I know it's not a full live band, but I recon if it was it would be even better.

theres not enuff normal grime performances never mind live band.
a set of a mixture between da 2 would be sick doh. like a dj, and a band.
only a few artists that could handle that doh.

Me and Retrofreak bought this up ages ago too, I think it's a sick idea like you say it brings new light innit. I'd love to see live bands incorped into the recording process too. Using live instruments to make beats etc...
