E4 Radio will be a contemporary music and entertainment service targeted at 15 to 29 year olds delivered in E4's inimitable, mischievous style. E4 Radio will be an irreverent, buzzing place, overflowing with enthusiasm. For this audience, it should feel like a good place to hang out; a place to meet like-minded people, share ideas, decide what they want to hear and show off what they've created. It will be a place to find all the latest music, entertainment and comedy from favourite artists to unknowns. E4 Radio will encourage a new generation of music and comedy talent.

It will blur the traditional broadcaster-listener boundaries creating a diverse, active community rather than a passive audience. E4 Radio will make radio integral to everyday life; reflecting the importance of mobile and online.

Building on the popularity of the E4 television channel, E4 Radio will help drive the nation's creativity, looking for new talent, new ideas and new sounds. It will be truly interactive, thriving on the web and other digital platforms as well as the airwaves, and giving its audience an active role in shaping the sound of the station. Listeners will be able to influence all the components of the station - the music, the news agenda, the talent, and the schedule will be decided in a two-way process and it will hand the mic over to its audience in a way no radio station has ever done before.

Presenters will be part of the E4 Radio community and engage actively with listeners. As a result, it's likely that presenters will be the same age group as their audience - a genuine opportunity for young people to be heard on national radio as never before.

They posted on RWD a while back, actually, asking for auditions for a grime/dubstep show. I don't know if anything ever came of it.

RISKY!

safe. we got a 3 week break of radio as terms out. Gona really try and get more refined and proffesh, as we gona be free agents at the end of May. Hopefully we can get a slot on a decent station.

Dnt even mind a par slot, as thats what a podcast or recording is for. I barely listen to anything live myself lol.

I would your shows on a download because I like the way you play Grime, Dubstep and Bassline, which I know alot of other people may not appreciate

On a real, E4 are into anything considered 'trendy', at the moment Dubstep is 'trendy', tell them you play that and see what they say, they know fuck all about the music
