The U.S has the likes of DJ Premier, Dr. Dre and Pharrell. Their beats and productions are highly distinctive and instantly recognisable. When it comes to the UK, 23-year-old Davinche is rapidly fitting the same profile as a producer/ artist/ songwriter who's carved out a unique sound for himself and the artists he's worked with.
Having laid down tracks for the likes of Kano, Tinchy Stryder and Tinie Tempah, the time has come for him to shine as an artist in his own right. The debut album, ‘Open Minded', drops this Summer, with the single, ‘Ridin' For Love' featuring Clea and Bashy, already doing the rounds.
Black Sheep's Mark Devlin caught up with Davinche on the radio to talk about his music, his inspirations, and his take on the good and bad aspects of the digital music revolution.
