Is grime a very dry scene at the minute?
I'm always thinking about questions to ask to get people to think about grime.
From the minute Scorchers, OG's and Ghettz CDs dropped it was all about them - 3 days later and the discussions about those CDs are at an end.
Now the forum is predominantly talking about improving the scene. Is that because the scene is dry and there's nothing else to talk about?
Why are we not discussing a particular producer, or beat, or remix?

Because of threads like these...if you want to discuss it, then make a thread about it.

Every genre of music is a bit crap right now, listen to some old stuff and stop making these threads.

he might as well make a new topic, the way he's complaining about threads not discussing it. theres no point talking, just do it...

Only got Ears, Ghettos & OGs delivered saturday, have only listened to Ghettos properly, Lewi Whites remix of Wileys 'Stars' is awesome, would love to have it as a instrumental. A reply from Wiley over the same beat would b one of the biggest dubs yet, up there with the NightBus dub for the movement last time.

Grime is a relentlessly progressive scene. Don’t release a tune for two months and you’ve fallen off. So Solid are old school, even though they ruled 2001. Have your station off air for a month (Heat! Raw Blaze!) and the baton passes to another station. In stark contrast to scenes like hip hop or techno, grime doesn’t worship its elder statesmen either. You’re either all up in people’s faces right now, or you’re no one, no where.
