..mostly hype but i like when MCs can be versatile and do a bit of meaningful(i don't call it conscious because that has strong connotations of backpack rap) and hype.. not love songs tho, don't really mix with grime IMO..

..well it originally just meant underground/alternative hip-hop.. but now it basically means nerd-rap.. alot of "conscious" hip-hop is backpack.. and i'm just applying it to grime..

bruv just do the CD, with what you want on it and how you wanna do it
If you have a certain style, you should be faithful to that. Nothing wrong with experimentation, but if you try to over-experiment it might not have the effect you want
Not everyone will like it regardless so you might as well do what you feel is best

Mostly hype, but not just mindless hype. Someone who can hype themself in such a creative way that proves it case-in-point. Also meaningful lyrics are good but it's dangerous water since it can sound corny.

LOL I swear some people don't know what they want from Grime anymore, regardless of what people want from a Grime artist bruv you have to be able to flip it. It aint about focusing on one aspect of being an MC becoming good at it but not so good at all other aspects. It depends on what kind of artist you want to be though man.
