With the jump off freestyle I can see how there could be a winner.
But watching grime mc battles I don't really know how to decide fairly, its always gonna be a bias thing surley?

Why?
It is whoever came with the best slews and whoever got the crowd the most hype

But in the other thread what I got hate in, people said MC's get wheels before 3 words have come out of their mouth.
So one MC will get more hype because people are aware of his bars.
So say D Double came up against Devlin, Double would prob win, even tho Devlin is lightyears beyond him content wise.

..most times there's a clear winner, if not then everyone just endlessly debates it and makes up their own opinion on who won..

IMO regular bars shouldn't be spat in a clash.
When talking about crowd reactions I meant in relation to to direct slews or disses

thats how clashes work. KRS-1 defeated melle mel not because he was better emcee at the time but because he had a killer line which made the crowd go mental

in raves....whoever has hypest dub bars e.g justin...cool off...
on radio...best diss bars/ most creative bars e.g oh wily kat your just a silly cat (i think ghetts said that..lol) or "poor will hes had bout four deals now hes back in the raves..."

Grime isn't capable of proper clashes tbh, in rap people will come up with things off the top of their head but in grime the closest thing possible is to substitute words into their usual bars or using pre-written bars for the clash.
It's not that I think Grime MCs lack the skill, it's just obviously gonna be a lot harder to improvise at 140 BPM than at 80-100 BPM.

..it would be sick if clashes were round based and scored like boxing..

dancehall & grime clashes are bare similar
