Following from what Jenai was saying.

Dont you think there should always be a vinyl package released alongside with major mixtape releases with the 4 best instrumentals from the CD on it.

CDs that spring to mind

Leader of the new school- Stay down the road, runway, red light instrumentals on a 12inch would of got copped.

Ghetto Gospel- Stageshow Don Top 3 Selected & The remix instrumentals copped

Skepta- Greatest Hits, In A Corner, Single Remix - Copped

Wiley Tunnel Visions- Nightbus.... COPPPED

Bizzle- Youll get wrapped, mr, come up... Hmmm maybe juss 4 youll get wrapped.

Loads of examples, but nobody has done it. Only JME with Waiseman EP...

Would that get some of you vinyl heads involved again?

Yeah i agree, i think most mixtapes should have single eps from them like a 4 track EP. Two vocal and two instrumentals! But it seems artists dont want to make that investment anymore cause they either think there too big or that they deserve all the money upfront from stores. Im lost, but know that the scene has fallen quickly what ever the reason!

people want to be able to buy the actual vinyl tho.

I wish what elijah said did happen.

Uptown should start a label to release vinyl still

i would of put out any of dem tunes i mentioned in my 1st post. It is hard to coordinate release dates, but e.ps should actually be out before the mixtape unlike the cases of Friscos No Hats No Hoods Release and Ghetto Top 3 Selected

Yeah if an artist can drop a vinyl or even CD EP of what's coming on their next release like a month before would be big.

the thing is there can be money in it.
JMEs EP was one of the top selling in uptown. Big tunes always seem to go out of stock aswell. admittedly the money in vinyl isnt the same but guys must be able to sell 100? even just 50promos? or somthing? (i dont know what the prices are for pressing up n stuff)

maybe ill get CDJs at one point but right now im still learning and buying tunes i dont have on vinyl.
