9/10, and I haven't even listened to it nearly as much as I would have liked yet. I was in bed listenin to it through the headphones last night, and some tunes are too crazy. Sometimes Ghetto's voice sounds like a demon, the production work on his voice at times is amazing, with some great effects going on. I wouldn't even like to give a rating with only one day of listening, and to the users giving this 5/10 etc, ask yourself if you can remember more than a few bars from a couple of songs from this mixtape, then consider if you've listened to it properly. Because I don't know how you can't get a hype listening to this, it's fire. The only criticism I would give, is the fact only Lewi White has produced almost all the tunes which means Ghetto doesn't deviate from that style that much. But saying that, it's worked extremely well because their styles go hand in hand. I also love the fact Lewi White has used samples from Resident Evil and Final Fantasy 6 that I clocked. (Convo with a cabbie + How it is)
This CD turns me skeng when I listen to it, how any of you can listen to 'Buss 1' and not get hype is beyond me. I almost started ramping with randoms on the way to uni when I was listenin through Ipod.

I have a problem with the writing more than the beats.
I think the track order could have been better,so the CD had more hype in the beginning.
I find it boring at the start, the CD kicks in from Track 4 "Threats", stay's hype for a minute and then tappers off into Ghetto Gospel.
I think "Ghost Town" has the best hook on the CD ,but it sounds too much like "Murder music" to my ears.
Ghetto's lack of song writing, shouting and lack of honesty have stopped me from marking this down as a classic.
I find the whole tuff guy routine tedious.
I think it's a good CD ,but it's not the levels I was expecting from someone so talented.
All this talk of "going to the mountain's" and you didn't bring back a decent song or hook, just angry rave bars screamed in a demonic fashion.
That's why I gave it 7/10.

i'll add though, that the production on this is pretty large. the absence of good hooks/writing is the biggest letdown. anyone else spot that resident evil music on 'conversation with a cabbie'?

I like those tracks, I just don't like the placement as the first few tracks feel slow and boring (together).
I would have placed them later on the CD so the album had a bit more pace from the get go.

..and people always go on about Ghetto's hooks but from the tunes i've heard off FoS so far the hooks have been good.. i noticed people never mention the hooks on Axiom E.P. and that is pretty much universally agreed as a 9/10+ but there are still some weak hooks.. the crazy frog one on License To Skill, Ny's boring one on Give Me The Music & the slow down thing on Axiom.. that's 1/3 of the CD..
..to me the priorities should be: lyrics(flow, content, concepts)>>beats>>hooks..

That's your opinion and that's cool, but for me I think all tracks should be attacked differently depending on the desired effect.
Sometimes you can make the verses hooky, other times it's the chorus.
The tracks you mentioned from Axiom EP where concept tracks and the one that slows down was a straight slewage tune (without a chorus).
Every track was radically different from the last and sequenced well.
I think "Mountains" and "Ghost Town" have the best hooks on the CD.
I just feel that the CD could have been sequenced better and in hindsight maybe they should of held back on "Mountains or Who's got" as there's not many tracks to top them on CD, so it feels like a bit of an anti climax.

The reviews seem to say either, whatever the general view of the forum one thing is clear and that's the fact that I obviously isn't amazing and has not lived up to the hype. For some reason I was under the impression that this and simply the best 2 were going to be pure grime due to the reviews that they have both received on previous releases and the general opinion of their choice of music they spit on.
We listen to grime not fucking hip hop, there is no way that ANYONE in the scene is going to get EVERYONE to highly rate their cd if its not 100% grime, this is our music, hip hop is not, stay true to the music and you will find it hard to go wrong.
Look at prez t, I thought before he was shit but now I have come to find his style not bad and fucking grimey and he puts out a 100% grime cd and the general feeling was that it was a fairly good release, it has to be grime, this half half shit aint cutting it IMO!

Interesting point. I like it. I have to consider what will hot up my iTunes playlist for longest though - the best of FOS or GG. The crap is crap, either way.
And I'm the opposite, a couple of FOS tracks might get playlisted, only one so far, whereas a few GG got playlisted.
Rick Ross's new album dropped a day or two later and that has already been hammered more than FOS.

I had to drive into west yesterday and I felt to run over everyone I actually felt to flip out a flip knife and shank some idiot driver 6 times but all I had was a bar of chocolate so that idea fell through.
The cd is so hype and angry I haven't heard something as raw as this for a very long time. I think he did limit himself though with working with 1/ 2 producers but guess it's something different just like the one he said he wants to do with rapid, wiley etc etc. Want to see what he can do over beats from maniac etc on them MTM cds though.

Dont u think ghost town, the production sounds quite Eminem-ish??
i was anticipating this release for a very long time as ghetts is my fav mc and he didnt disappoint. Although I still cant say yet that i prefer it to GG. I need to listen to it more. I love the fact it is darker n rawer but i feel on sometracks his voice has been digitalised too much. I like ghetto gospel for its variety n the fact its clear but didnt like it because it needed some more energy.
I think im just bein fussy still, this cements ghetts and freedom of speech as one of the best to come out of the scene. Its set a milestone for other MCs to aim for. As frank said i really wanna see what ghetts can do over a variety of beats especially from maniac, wiley and rapid. Looking forward to the album an the MTM series.

^^^Agreed,
I'll add that I don't put the lack of diversity solely down to the production ,but more to the songwriting as Ghetts more or less talks about the same stuff through out the CD (apart from "Convo with a cabby").
I find that he attacks too many tracks the same way so it adds to the CD feeling very limited imo.
To me FOS is a well put together project ,but I'll play GG more as it has breaks from his angry tone and he's saying more on that CD.
I like when MC's are real and this tough guy routine is too much for me to give it repeated listens over a long period of time.

I think a lot of people are going on like this is some huge disapointment, its far from it. Well it is if you want to here him on a jme beat or maniac one or big scene colab but theres obviously none of that on here. I'm glad there isn't an over load of features on here as some mixtapes it might aswell be a crew mixtape or a joint project with the amount of bloody features on it. It sounds like ghetto has been listening to a lot of you - we want him more angrier... but all in all I'm very happy with this release and I fucking have enjoyed listening to it.
