Well, I just got this through the door courtesy of Uptown Records (Ordered at 4pm yesterday, received at 10am this morning, big !) So I thought this album needed an official thread where people can say what they think of the album as a whole, certain tracks, opinions, criticisms, just generally what you think. Since it is officially out now I guess, I'm sure everybody will have something to say about this release. I will add what I think later, I'm gonna rip it to the computer now.

I ain't even the biggest Ghetto fan but this CD is fcuking banging. Lewi White & Smasher smacked it with the productions.

Got a decent balance of hype tunes (Buss 1) and deeper tune (Convo with a cabbie). Haven't found a track I don't like yet. The two Dubsteppy beats in the middle of the CD was refreshing

On alot of the tracks he seems to screaming/shouting alot and it don't sounds good imo.

I couldn't be bothered to read this whole thread as its long considering it hasn't arrived at mine yet. However, from the blog reviews they are mainly all 8 or 9 out of 10 and a lot of people think it is the best album/mixtape to come out of Grime yet. To be fucking honest, it wasn't expensive, it's from one of the best artists in the scene at the moment. I still let my CD player play right through Ghetto Gospel once or twice a week. Baring in mind most people have said it's a lot better than Ghetto Gospel and i heard the bonus track the other day and loved it. Even if i don't like one or two tunes on this i seriously doubt i will be to dissapointed. I'm very happy with his work rate and what he is doing for the scene and pray this isn't his last mixtape. So it makes me over the moon the fact that he is planning on dropping a season of promotional cd's to match Wiley's Tunnel Vision. Expect to see my full review on the CD in under a week.

(Btw if i fucked up my spelling or structure there, i'm well tired and can't be assed to read through it, it's long. Just so you know, if you quote it and wind me up i will just go join logan sama and call you a back slapper... Hint*Basicly proving what Logan said wrong*Hint)

9/10, and I haven't even listened to it nearly as much as I would have liked yet. I was in bed listenin to it through the headphones last night, and some tunes are too crazy. Sometimes Ghetto's voice sounds like a demon, the production work on his voice at times is amazing, with some great effects going on. I wouldn't even like to give a rating with only one day of listening, and to the users giving this 5/10 etc, ask yourself if you can remember more than a few bars from a couple of songs from this mixtape, then consider if you've listened to it properly. Because I don't know how you can't get a hype listening to this, it's fire. The only criticism I would give, is the fact only Lewi White has produced almost all the tunes which means Ghetto doesn't deviate from that style that much. But saying that, it's worked extremely well because their styles go hand in hand. I also love the fact Lewi White has used samples from Resident Evil and Final Fantasy 6 that I clocked. (Convo with a cabbie + How it is)

This CD turns me skeng when I listen to it, how any of you can listen to 'Buss 1' and not get hype is beyond me. I almost started ramping with randoms on the way to uni when I was listenin through Ipod.

IMO Ghetto Gospel >>> Freedom Of Speech. I was one a of few people who actually rated Ghetto Gospel highly, so this change of style im definately not going to like. I was hoping this would have tracks like Im Ghetts from Ghetto Gospel, but I can honestly say that there are 3/4 tracks I rate on this CD and thats all. Ive played it through 5 times now, each time Buss 1 pisses me of more and more. There is a difference between shouting and being angry, mayb this is more down to perception, but to me the shouting deads any hype that there could be.

grimier beats from lewi, some of other (older) stuff was some of the grimiest beats i've heard.
maybe if ghetto didnt shout so much i would have liked it better.

Yeah i was just expecting more. More of the angry tracks, although stuff like Buss 1 was more shouting, alright track though. Loads of the really good stuff got rinsed on radio and set the levels high for the rest. Was suprised at the dubstep tracks too
