Why?......Just Why
Im my wise opinion its not reppin...its begging. The only tee shirt i can think off possibly wearing is the 'grime' design one or another one mentioned about loadsa different mcs.

1) I am not in Boy Better Know so i wont wear their T, im not even from their endz.

2) Where i come from its just neeky and i would rather cop actual designer clothes. im gonna make an assesment and guess that the majority of ppl on this forum are from outside london because i rarely see pll with these tees and its seems like you all queue up to wear tees you dont even understand properly (grime is dead?????) 'oh logan i want one...me too i want a XL'

3)£30-25 for an eski beat Tee who came up with that idea!!

4)And if P money thinks im gonna walk around with a tee saying what did he say just cos he wrote a bar saying that then hes got another thing coming...waits for 'im wearing my rolex' tee!

5)I would rather Slew Dem actually do some work and not sell tee shirts promoting 'non stop working' its all abit off a pisstake really.

I could go on and on but id rather not basically my point is i love Grime...Grime MUSIC and i couldnt give a shit about the newest phrases, colours and designs i just wanna see more quality sets and mixtapes.

I'm from Essex and think T-Shirts are begging it if you are doing music yourself. But I will say if i think a T-Shirt looks good or not. It's funding the scene really, in a finiancially broke scene artists have to get money some how to fund there projects and if they do it with drug money it will just badly promote the genre. Still i do agree it is begging it...

Bare heads rock Bob Marley tees, what's the difference?
If people wanna show that they are fans of someone they will wear their fanwear.

It's like The Rock wearing a Kurt Angle T-Shirt. Just The Rock is a lot lower down in the rankings at the time.

Who the fuck wears clothes to 'rep' anyway

I buy clothes to look good not to 'rep' whether the logo is a corporate sports make or the name of a grime crew, I'll buy it if it looks good. Sadly no T-shirt to come out of the grime scene looks good enough for me to buy

I f you want to wear clothes purely to 'rep' somthing or somewhere plain white tee's and a marker pen is YOU

I agree.

I swear it's just mainly people from out of London like that MannyMan guy who beg and idolise grime mc's in this way.

I never have and never would buy a grime t-shirt, why am I gonna buy a t-shirt with a guy's face on who lives round the corner from me? You wouldn't catch me wearing a shirt with the local shotta's faces on, and I have more respect for them than I do for most grime mc's.

OK I see what you're saying now, if you are an MC, don't wear another MCs tee, fair enough.

But what some people seem to be getting at is that because they are from the same place, they can't be a fan, and wear their tee. Which seems to be a silly attitude to have.

tbh i would probably be more interested in buying then if the designs were better, more time its just a logo in some any font and the rest of the t-shirt is plain. I would prefer to buy one with some proper original design that looked nice to wear.

lol, For me its different, I understand why for people in London won't wear one though.

I bought 2 BBK t's a year ago now, wouldn't buy another one.

if i asked 99% of ppl who wear them in preston who was actually in bbk they wouldnt be able to tell me. there just a bunch of mugs who think there sick cus they listen to jme and wear his t shirt lol

there nothing wrong to showing support to ppl who are on the platform of recognition and praise e.g entertainers, sportsmen but come on.
Moretime its myspace artists with one or two likkle freestyles who then expect in todays 'postcode war' mentality that the rest of london will be supporting them when they go around saying e.g 'come to my ends your boys will get eaten.....and they then want support from ppl around the UK.

Maybe im going a bit too far but this forum is the first to point out when someone is bredding i just find it funny ppl can say this and have half of next mans merchandise in their wardrobe..'its a par' (tees out now) lol

Reason people outta London would wear them is, forget who BBK are, Its a T-Shirt telling people " Boy Better Know "

Ransom

I would never wear a grime t shrit outside my house , only time i would wear it if im playing football.

P.S I saw a guy at college wearing "it's alot" t shrit the other day.

I reckon it's more of a JME thing tbh, he is the most known guy in grime (bar Kano and Dizzee) and people like him who don't even know what grime (the genre) is.
If it was Wiley saying "Boy Better Know" in all his lyrics, owned the label and was selling the tees, I doubt they would do as well.

Yeah... If I was just a fan then I must admit i'd probably be buying a couple T's.

When I went to school around the 2000 era, the garage kids would wear tracksuits and the neeky grunger kids would wear shirts with thier fave bands on it.

Now it seems like all the kids who are cool listen to indie and all the neeks listen to grime and rock shirts with thier fave acts on it.

Id rather walk around the street topless than wear a bbk T.

Jme and Skepta are laughing at you right now.

It aint funding the scene, there is no scene, theres a collective of people who are classed together trying to make as much money of you die hard fans before something better comes along.

I generally think that the plain t-shirts with a logo on a black/white background look shit. I got one of the tropical ones as they look half decent & have a summer feel.

allow wearing one to a grime night though. Thats straight bredding.

You can wear what you like.

I guess I just think the plain text being so big and boring, and there being hardly any difference in designs other than slight colour changes is a turn off.

I like to be my own person when it comes to how I dress.

Wouldnt really wear any tee with a slogan, let alone a grime one

Non-Stop Working tee was the best one imo, a bit before all this T-Shirt hype.

Can;t imagine MCs etc sell loads of them (bar BBK) but they're so cheap then they might as well

Bob Marley And The Rest Of T Shirt Guys Like James Brown, Muhammad Ali, Che Guevara etc.
Are Legends. Therefore Justifying Thier T Shirt Status.

I would still think someone was a bit of a nob if they wore a T-Shirt in big white capital letters saying "Bob Marley' least some of the shirts are nicely designed.
