i was hopin that after axiom more guys - goodz included - would just release eps but i dont think anyones doing it...
i think it prob takes more work to do a proper ep even if its just a few tracks than a mix cd where you can just bang out a mix cd which is prob why, but still
eps are an underrated format

Streets Of Rage was as consistent as Axiom tbh.

but yeh, if certain man cant make good quality 18 tracks, they should do 9, fuck fillers.

I think its basically because there is little direction with most MC's. They would rather follow suit with what everyone else is doing to create the best 'mixtape' instead of creating more of an established and unique product. I think someone like Goodz has the ability to be the pioneer with doing something new. Certainly with his ability to create good records.

one thing i've never got is, wouldn't you rather have the 9 bangers AND the 5 decent filler tracks?

why would you limit yourself to 9 tracks when you've got others sitting around in the studio, may aswell put them out

the more material i get from an MC the better

nah not me personally
i dont have enough time to listen to cds where half of it is filler
id rather they left that in the studio
i dont need to hear it
these days theres too much music out there to wanna bother with mix cds where its half decent, half shit
not that i only want bangers
id like ot hear differnt stuff also, but still, i can do without the blatant filler
