Least HMV give you that choice to cancel, I remember I couldn't be bothered to wait for them to order in one game and 1call and it was sorted. They didn't even take p's out of my account until they actually have it in their possesion.

It's all very well HMV doing this and it is a good offer, but think about all the Grime CD's that HAVEN'T been stocked at HMV, if places like Uptown go bust because nobody uses their custom, you will all be sorry

I was reading about sites like Amazon and Play taking larger proportions of profits than other places aswell, in some cases making 8 times more than the artists per CD. That's a straight liberty

That's the thing though with independant record shops a lot of the time take longer if they even end up stocking music and with shops like hmv/play/amazon you're music is available to bigger audiences. It's like a catch 22. Why don't you buy 2 cds lololol
Everytime I'm in west or even up roman road I always drop in and see what they have. I see Uptown are upping the levels but theres a lot of other shops that need to take notice and start catching on to releases - that goes to mcs to and some just need to fix up their whole service COUGH....

yeah they send it out a day or two before the release date so you get it on the day of release
