Banning users?

I dunno, but I think some punishment or warning system should be put into place because some people blatantly are disrespecting the system lol

I've seen some people add their myspace into other's articles as well.

I dunno if I have the power to do anything except edit protected pages, but I thought as a Sysops I had a bit more, like banning users or something like that, ahh well.

Maybe we need to lock the pages for big people like that, and then put a message at the bottom for somewhere to contact/email if there's a legitmate reason/person wanting to change anything

I dont think I can ban people, but if I step up my editing and I'm happy with it I'll protect the page

Ok its like this. Click a users name. It will go their profile, if there isn't one their will be a text box.

Bottom left it will say 'user contributions' and also 'ban user'

click ban user.

well you cant coz its broken, but im working on fixing it but thats where it should be be.

remember if you can see any accoutn that looks to be affiliated with whoever does the gay changes, delete it.....
then edit their groups profile or something.

how do i change my stuff on it and move myself to artists instead of producers?

on your page look for
[[category:grime producers]]
change to
[[category:grime artists]]

(you can leave producer there as well if u want)

Also, what i've been doing is

if you notice someone creating a page for themselves, that is not legible, is written all in capitals or is a blatent stretch of the truth...

edit the page -> delete all text -> refer them to the rules

and make sure the rules has a little comment that effort must be put in to make it look good. if they continue to fuck up.... edit the page text to 'page deleted as against the rules hijimi@gmail.com' then SYSOPS (all of us as admins) ... PROTECT the page, so they have to create one with a similar name and cant have their old one back.
