i like grimewave. beats refreshing and the lyrics on point (at times lol) chorus is alright as well

Not feeling St. Ps or Grimewave beats too tough at all really. Vocal on grimewave (wileys) is on point tho.
Minute made lemonade is more my ting but aint hyped bout it TBH.
Had big hopes for Grimewave but now I aint so sure its for me, this new production style seems to have lost what made Wiley beats unique but it may have more commercial appeal.

This is my opinion if some any guy came with these beats, they'd be considered shit, its only cus its wiley that theyre rated at all.

He needs to step up his producing game, his lyrics have improved but his beats are terrible still.

Its not hate , to know that one of the most inspirational producers in the scene has fell off.

I hope that he is just posting every tune he makes for the sake of it, just to see what people think and then the overall result will be something everyone feels.

He does seem to be just posting everything he makes at the moment.

This could mean he is just more hardworking than talent. nothing wrong with that tho. In some cases more impressive.

thing is though...every producer puts him in there top 5 so i think in technical terms (ie his use of sounds etc) his beats are on a very high level but its just the sounds themselves that he uses.

thing with wiley is his beats where never technically on a par with someone like joker who programs and tailers each sound he uses

wiley has always jus had a very good/unique ear for sounds, if u listen back to all his best beats, eskimo etc, they are all pretty basic beats its just the sounds he selects to put together are sounds no one would of thought to use and it gave him a unique style which evryone recognized and liked

atm it sounds like hes lackin inspiration, maybe this will change if he movs on to sum next soundbanks/plugins or whatever

sherwood forrest is some infetious shiiiiit, not what i'd really expect from wiley but this is what distinguishes him as a true artist. Minute made is in the same vein as 'stampers' and 'babylon burner', the kinda beat beggin to be blessed by a skippy flow
