It's actually shit. Thinking about uninstalling it. Never used one sound. I like the cheap synths tbh, they always have the craziest sounds.

Show me a beat you've made with it if you can please. I couldn't get anything to fit. If I was doing nuts stuff like Burial, then this would be sick, but for Hip Hop and Grime, I really didn't like anything, and didn't care enough to go deeper.

i was gonna download it a few months back.. but i tried it at a friends, and it seems like all some mad pad's and no nice leads and shit..
I know i probably could create them, but i just thought it was overly long.

Seen, fair play, might give it another spin if I like the sounds.
Like L1One said though, all I got was far out spacey synths and shit, and some bass sounds that sounded like any plugin.

to be fair you should have known from the read-ups that its probably not suited to your style of production lol

Not at all, quite the opposite ...
After many years of development, Spectrasonics is proud to release the brand new flagship virtual instrument Omnisphere. This epic ‘Power Synth’ breaks completely new sonic ground by combining a wide variety of hybrid realtime synthesis techniques, an epic library of remarkable ‘Psychoacoustic’ sounds, and many innovative features that have never been seen before in any hardware or software synthesizer. The new instrument is the first to be based on Spectrasonics newly developed STEAM Engine.
I'd also like to add that the library, considering it's size, is far from epic ...

They're all airy and thin anyway. There was literally nothing I used, whereas most new synths I flick through and make BARE tunes desperate to use the new sounds.

I might have to check that, z3ta is the main synth I use

Didn't like Dimension either, BARE size with nothing to warrant it imo
Sylenth1 is the biggest synth on road, and the smallest installer ...

What I mean is do you use them like a normal synth programming wise, or are they just massive preset packs?

theres bare preset packs. but you can edit them alot aswell, just not to the extent that you can with normal synths...but near enough.

I installed on an external, which was a bad move - decreased the performance even more, bare slow to load the big patches, and it freezes the whole host up while it's doing it :(
