"one mic" by nas, shit i remember listening to tim westwood in the car home from football training and hearing this and it was the first song to ever give me goosebumps. i'm pretty sure i've rinsed this song so much that everyone in my household knows every fucking word

the whole "madvillainy" album by madvillain

"the documentary" by the game has got some brilliant production, wasted on a rapper like the game i'm afraid...

"fan-tas-tic vol.2" by slum village has gotta be in my top 5 albums of all time in any genre

"fishscale" by ghostface killah, probably the most complete album by one of the greatest to ever pick up the microphone

"above the heavens" by blu & exile, trust me get this album, blu is tooooo good on the mic - its a fucker to find in the shops in the UK but i'm pretty sure you can get it for next to nothing online somewhere. 10/10 album.

steady. ruff ryders, dipset and rocafella have been slipping for years and mobb deep haven't been that good since about '98.
