it can be full of their whole back catalogue and an hour set.
which producers do you think make enuff regular bangers and have made enuff bangers to be able to do this?
i was thinking wiley but his tunes are a bit samey.
rapid
maybe joker in time to come when hes got a bigger selection
maybe maniac in time as well
not sure bout skepta

no, no producer has enough variety to keep me interested for that one. If anyone it would be will

same as you
maybe wiley if the selecta was on point, but like u said a lot of his tunes are the same
could probably tolerate a hour of rapid though, but his beats dont usualy have a ugly enough bassline

alot of these top house/electro producers dj and play mainly all their own stuff.
do you think that maybe the grime audience is far too fussy,or just that the house/electro crowd are too out of their nuts to give a shit?

davinche if any 1

Electro sets can be 6 hours long ... you know there's gotta be a load of filler bullshit in there. I refuse to believe any genre has 6 hours worth of bangers at any given time.
Imagine Logan playing SideWinder on his own ...

a lot of house beats sound EXACTLY the same
dubstep Dj's play a lot of their own tunes eg Rusko
and dubsep raves are fucking sick (i dont pill or sniff)
i think its partly cos grime has too many "top producers" who got that label from making one banger then never made anything else up to par. the ony really talented producers are wiley, skepta, y.dot, rapid and davinche in my opinon.

but yeah, DaVinChe with the vocal stuff
maybe Dexplicit with his remixes and 4x4 stuff

Skream has a mix out of just his stuff in 2005, and it was big.
Dubstep guys can pull it off.
I think Rapid could pull it off.

wookie, the only person i could listen to a straight set of, purely cos of the variety he had like dirty bass tunes, then some melodic vocal stuff but still sounded gritty
i dont think no one from grime (apart from maybe davinche) has that level of variety

Wookie for sure, great choice.
init, hes on some funky house these days but i reckon he could fuck up the grime scene if he wanted to, tbh grime needs more older/experienced producers to deal with songs and not just dubs/beats

Nah he is too much and could do a lot in the Grime scene for sure.
I'm gonna have to have a listen to some old tracks now.

I like what Ive heard from Taz, but Id need to hear a lot more before I could decide if he'd be good for a whole set.
No sendage to him though.

Iron Soul is one of the very few producers that did pitched up samples well.
His other shit is sick too.

Only ones that come to mind are ppl that already been mentioned...
Davinche
Wiley
Maniac
Dot Rotton
Rapid
Id prefer maniac jus coz most beats are soo hype.
Altho others would be...
Plastician
Silencer
and if he had more songs...Scartchy. His beats are cold.

samur41

plastician might be bearable u know, whoever said the dubstep guys can do it was right...obviously not every producer, but i get lost in dubstep mixes whereas grime i get too impatient
