Just come back from the Dizzee concert and before i break it down to you lot alls i got to say is he (and newham generals) absoutley smashed it. Well worth the £17.50.........
Anyway there was an opening act who was quite swag, they tried t hye up the crowd on numerous occasions but it just weren't happening. Newham generals came on next when i say the got the CROWD hype i aint exaggrating, they played songs off thier new album and it sounded BIGGGG!!!!! think off a carchy song to do with slags.....
When Dizzee came on it was like 50 had arrived as he security was killin it all comingto the area that seperates the crowd and the stge (taking bottle of water out off ppl's hands) but nevertheless it was massiveeeeeeee!
He went through most off the choons from his first album and M & E. The crowd went the most hype on Sirens, Stop dat, I luv u, and Fix up.........
Oh yeh Dizzee is a smart guy cus i knowundrstand the mentality e had hen he made sirens, when the gitars kicked in at the end it was like being at a fucking ROCK concert with the crowd jumping/swaying around......
Spoke to Footsie at the end and asked him when the album is dropping he said April, couldn't realli speak to d double cus some f.ucking prick acted like rambo and was coming in y face and saying no more questions (like he was paris hilton).
Anyway a good night, and Newham Generals album is a str8 cop...
P.s - Dizzee has got the inde fans on lock, they went mad whn temptations was on, i would say 60% of the crowd was indie fans.
