Nice beat very Grimey, but i'm bored of it already as it sound like noise...
I'm waiting to hear something better form the Gen's as this feels like their living off old hype imo.

Dizzee needs to come harder on a track with G-Man because he'll just get outshined

Bet you anything that there will be a Violence rmx in the pipeline somethime soon w/ D Double E...
Hopefully a big remix like Prangman was with people like Wiley on it.
Not abad track, but would rather they released 'Head Get Mangled'. That really sounded like it would do damage inna shoobz.

nah I get what Retrofreak is saying about old hype, in that it's not represntative of their current sound that much, but it's still a banger despite Dizzee not being arsed to write some new bars for it.
The hook is very good and G-Man kills it.
Good shout about a remix with DEE, but given the amount of time it's taken to release this then I wouldn't count on it lol

I'd imagine there will be tracks without Foots on the CD as well though.
I like it personally.

yeah, I'm sure there will too, something like 'It's Foots' would just be one MC on a track.
They complement each other well on the microphone back to back, but over a whole album it would be a bit boring by the end.
As long as you don't get bare extended, solo freestyles then it's cool.
Demos
9th December '08, 05:57 PM
i know its a long shot but will any of them old tracks with monksta be on this album?
FG
9th December '08, 06:01 PM
probably not, it would just look silly
though was thinking about this today, he could have a freestyle or a guest feature or something.
Swear Monkstarr was on the original of this track? Was there an original, or am I getting confused? Heard the instro time ago, can't remember if it was vocalled or not

See I reckon Dizz done alrite was feelin the old flowOf course, his old flow was fucked, (on Maths & English he didn't really have any at all) but on this tune it felt like he just made a half hearted attempt at getting his old flow back.
mental track, I have full faith in this album being a classic. I want to say this too, but I don't want to be disappointed. I see the potential of it happening though. (and tbh from just the few tracks we've heard so far I'd pay double for this album)

totally agree. Even novelty tunes like Bell Dem Slags would walk onto an average grime mixtape or album.
How they deal with Monkstarr leaving will affect things, but I imagine it's mostly newer stuff anyhow.

people should note that this is how to make a song. you can tell they spent a bit of time getting it right. the hook is proper. most guys choruses sound like they put it together in about 30 secs.
