right im looking into a new yard for my next year of uni, and im thinking maybe to get somewhere that could compensate for a pirate station... or even a little home studio.

im in hatfield so its not too bad of a location, 15 min drive from north london.

i wont be moving for until like, september so iv got plenty of time to generate money for equipment, advertise, etc etc. but what do you all think?

Depends on whether you feel the market is saturated.

To be honest it dont even need to run 24 hours as long as you can have a slot that doesnt clash with big sets (e.g sunday from 7 would be long)....

yeah nevermind running 24 hours day, id just have shows at certain times. obviously run an online ting aswell not just broadcast. run a podcast (properly, not like that rinse shit lol), live stream, etc etc

I Believe Internet Radio Stations Are Fairly Easy To Set Up, Just Need A Bit Of Time And Money.
Some Donut From My Bits Set One Up And He Is A Real Plum With Things Like That.

well i dunno about any mcs in hatfield but i think i know enough established mcs and have enough contact to get a nice rota going. its just a matter of if they take interest or not.

It's a good idea, but it would have a lot of hassles for you. Particularly when you start worrying the neighbours. The sets idea is feasible though, if you were putting a studio together.
