Just seen Rios vs Ramboa is jUst about confirmed, and surprisingly most people don't give Gamboa much of a chance, I think Gamboa's fuckimg amazing, he's one of the only lower weight boxers i've watched quite a lot of, and I know moving up 2 weights to fight Rios, who is huge at 135 anyway is going to be difficult to overcome, but I seriously think Gamboa's good enough to do it,

i think it's a bridge too far for gamboa, my money would be on rios wearing him down in the latter rounds. if gamboa does pull it off, you'd have to say he's one of the best in the sport. i'm surprised at the match-up, i guess arum must not much like gamboa; with this fight he gets to build up rios and keep lopez out of harm's way, plus if gamboa does win, it would boost his appeal significantly more than another easy featherweight title fight.

yeah, it makes sense for everyone concerned. i definitely give chisora a chance, he proved last night that he has a world-class chin and is capable of pressuring an opponent for twelve rounds. it's possible that haye wouldn't be able to handle a big, strong guy like chisora putting him to the cosh. but in the end i think haye would probably be too slippery for him.

What's your opinion on Chisora - Haye? Do you still think Chisora can win? (you said so after Vitali fight)
Do you think Warren's in the wrong for using the Luxembourg commission to licence the fight, when both fighters are banned? And do you think it could be bad for British boxing?

Just watched the Golovkin fight on Boxnation, he was against a shit opponent, but he's quality, great technique and hits like fuck too. Hope he gets the Sturm fight soon.

Eubank Jr and Kid Galahad on Channel 5 in 10 minutes too. I like Galahad, classy boxer, shame he has no power whatsoever. But he's in an awesome division so loads of good fights for him down the line.
Quite impressed with Eubank Jr too, real good hand speed and looks like he's got that killer instinct too.

Brook did well to hold on with a busted nose, and having nothing left in the last 3-4, but the way he just completely lost all his stamina with the nose break was worrying, Hearn after the fight eluded to Kell maybe not training properly, but hopefully this'll be a wakeup call for him, on a positive note though, he showed a chin, heart and managed to box well against a tough relentless opponent, looks as though they're going to put him in with some Argie nobody next fight, hopefully after that they'll look at a world title

i wouldn't be too certain that joshua will medal. medzhidov, cammarelle, dychko and omarov are all very good fighters. all except possibly omarov would be favourites to beat him imo (medzhidov already has, and joshua was lucky to get the nod over cammarelle in the world championships). personally i make thomas stalker britain's best bet for a gold.
