Leave Europe to onside.
And consider, that without even a medical, the new owners SMASHED the English football transfer RECORD, in ONE DAY.
Its definately deserving of the hype.

In 2 to 3 years City will be a standard top 4 team at the expense of either Arsenal or Liverpool
Famous?

I don't think they will spend as much as everyone is saying in January, I personally think Robinho was over priced and part of a PR stunt to deter from the fact that City were bought out, again....looking at their team they don't need to buy that many players, they have a lot of good players, all they need is a proven goalscorer and they could quite easily take on Liverpool or Arsenal this season for 4th...EDIT: selling corluka = nightmare

I think it will just be a straight 5 dog fight for the top 4 places.
Them waste teams like Villa & Tottenham have no chance now.

LOL par
They tried to snag Torres for 50 mil just before the window closed, they aint havin it, come january they're gonna be on some shopping spree, 550 billion pounds means they can offer players dumb amounts of money, although Arsenal will proberly suffer its gonna be intriguing to watch.

alot of people are forgetting how good city's team is anyway now. elano & robinho in attack with the likes of Johnson & petrov supplying them is already a force to be reckoned with. They have a solid back 4 aswell

Tbh I think robhino is a bit too scrawny for the prem, he wont last 5 mins getting pushed around by some tank of a defender.

These owners are annoying, they need to shut up and just give Hughes the money. We aren't gonna sign Cristiano Ronaldo (thank god), Drogba, Torres or fucking Maradona. The only thing they're doing is making us look like a joke.
Unless we do something big this season Robinho will just move next year anyway of Chelsea come for him so I'm not getting my hopes up about him yet. All I wanna see from these owners is for them to stop trying to sign every "world class" player and let Hughes do the buying.
Also, Corluka wanted to leave, he wasn't fussed about us so whatever. Signed Zabaleta as cover who is good apparently so not losing any sleep about him.
