We should just get gangsters to run the clubs and buy players at gun point.:D

Funny how manu fans were all goin mad @ CR7, for the way he acted when their club promotes such behaviours and show no regards for the rules of the sport.

To buy a player all u need to do is kidnap him, hold him at ur stadium and use his contract has ramson, thats ways better than wasting transfer fee.

whats even worse is Spurs take hush money and all of a sudden there no problem :stunned:

SkySports confirm thats part of the deal was spur closing their mouths and get Campbell

Thats some mobster shit!

WHEN Madrid fly CR7 to spain for a medical without Manu's conceit, u guys can say shit!

Footballer watching skysports yesterday, will see no reason to respect their clubs, fans and contract.

Who needs permission, We GANGSTERS MEHN!

Spurs released a statement saying they DID NOT give Berbatov permission to speak to Manu, let alone have a medical

But they gave him permission to speak to man city, after accepting their offer

Man u MUST recieve permission from Spurs b4 making such moves

Spurs were bullied

At least we got the asking price knocked up thanks to Man City. Utd have always done this, it's not new news.

I know but the fact that they did it so publicly is outrageous

It just shows lack of respect for Spurs and the rules

The big four run the Premiership. They can act how they want without any fear of any real punishment (Chelsea and Ashley Cole, Liverpool and Keane and Barry). Wenger doesn't like buying players so he doesn't really fit.

the FA would have done nothing

so spurs had the choice of:

blocking the transfer, not getting campbell on loan and having a sulking prick in the reserves

or

cashing in, making £20m profit, getting a young back up striker and being in a strong position to move for a replacement in january

the whole situation isnt ideal but i think they did the best they could have. imo, the FA need to be more robust and need to make it impossible for clubs to retract complaints like this

Well why didn't they complain to the FA then and get the move blocked, if this was the case they would obviously have enough evidence to land united in alot of trouble. I thought spurs were happy to let Berba rot in the reserves?

spurs should have forced berbatov to choose between man city & staying at white heart lane. Lack of balls on their part really.

Easier said than done when considering the current world financial situation. No point having a player who doesn't want to play for you. Considering United didn't want to go much above 20 Mil, we've done well.

Berbatov would have had to have gone to city though as his situation at spurs was unworkable.

City have done you a massive favour financially

This year at least, selling to City is selling to a direct rival. Selling to Utd isn't.

NaijaBoy, you just sound like a pissed orf, Arsenal fan, because your club can't compete with the "big money" transfers.

Get over yourself.

There no longer is a big 4, its the big 2 nowadays, as much as I hater to admit it.

Man City apparently wern't all that interested in Berbatov, they made 6 bids in total 300 million euros worth of bids on strikers all around Europe. With their main target always being Robinho, the other bids were sposed to be fooling everyone so that they got the man they really wanted and so they did. The only losers here have been Chelsea.

If it happened in spain or italy i would still be complaining

Arsenal can compete but Arsene choose not to

We shall see how the big spend last

30mil for a 27 yr old, thats 30 mil for at most 3 good seasons

Thats if he doesnt chuck

The same guy that has been fucked up mentally since he found out manu were interested in him

now is that bitter enough for u?

Not really, spurs were spineless actually. Its one thing bleating on about your players being tapped up, but if it really bothered you, why sell the player to that club? bottom line is Daniel Levy is a snake and didnt have the backbone to turn down utd's bid and make berbatov stay. Simple As. The deals done he should shut his mouth.

I'm not a massive Levy fan, but it's easy to turn down offers and let players rot in the reserves when you're Chelsea. That would be Spurs writing off the 11 million we bought him for, his wages and any potential selling fee (19 million profit!). We got a good price, he acted the cunt, let's move on.

30mil for a 27 yr old, thats 30 mil for at most 3 good seasons lol at most 3 good seasons. Van Nistelrooy is 32 and still peforming at the top level. Berbatov is a similar player, doesn't rely on pace, relies on intelligence, positioning, and clinical finishing. He could realistically be a key player at Man Utd for the next 5 years.

Thing is he would have gone to city if they rejected uniteds bid as he was so desperate to move

Who can second guess him? He could have stayed and waiting to join Utd.

I enjoy the people who seem to think Berbatov is a typical number 9. He drops deep, like Rooney and Tevez, and looks for the ball. He's not a 6 yard box striker.
