Both in different categories IMO.
Maximums show is there for the real grime heads, gets the newest tunes and the sets are usually sick.
Westwood's show is bringing grime to more and more people.
They both do good for the grime scene so they shouldn't be on the same day IMO, Westwood should move his cos I like Rinse on Sunday nights

Only thing thats every good about Westwoods shows is the freestyles you get on Youtube, Maximum could look at doing something similar at Rinse when they spray and do a Maximum TV thing... obviously he can't hold the camera up or whatever because hes mixing...

Other than that though, Maximum destroys it...

Maximum because it is what grime IS to me- bare MCs, decent DJ, sick beats and replay factor.
Westwood is the US hip-hop show with English MCs, from the swag "spit over two beats" segment to his awful interviews interspersed with songs I can hear on myspace or Logan anyway (most of the time they're old as well).

Dunno, Westwood just seems like a poor cash-in because the interest in the scene is growing again. Rinse is real grime.
I try not to listen to westwood, record on the V+ and fast forward most of it.

Westwood is just jumping on Grime because hip hop is dead...
He has no knowledge on the 'scene' but neither do any of his listeners and he is getting Grime a lot of attention recently with his youtube page.
There is no denying he is messed up but his pars are funny as fuck.
My northern Irish mate heard tonights show and laughed his head off and bopped his head off. He has never heard grime and would never had if it was any other dj. He has just brought Peng Food as well so boy...

I don't mind artists going on there, the exposure is a lot, but 1xtra should have hired a grime DJ to do that new show and I think its an absolute par they chose Westwood to do it.
