yeah MMA(3months) +TB(3weeks)

Whats the standard like in Scotland?

It's taken me two years to have the confidence to want to fight, and think I can hold my own. I'd say you could get the basics down solid within a few months, if you have previous experience in whatever else fighting people do. I mean, alot of MMA stand up is adapted from boxing and MT so you will probably know stuff like knees, kicks and plum clinch from MMA?

I wanna try MMA but after I;ve had a few fights cos that shit is tough!

I been training BJJ for 5 years, mma for three years. I have trained in mma at Cambridge Free Fight, FightFirst, London Pancrase and most recently London Shootfighters.

I was going to fight this year but I have slipped a disc in my back and now need to find a way to pass the time and let off all my bitterness and angry energy.

MMA is good for looking after yourself, but it ain't going to stop you getting stabbed. If you want to train in an art that covers knives escrima is the only serious one.

For self-protection I would train in Krav maga, maybe if my back improves I will, but I am guessing that my mma days may well be over

Totally, if your gonna be cocky in a fight situation because you know how to fight then you are either an idiot or have never been in a fight where some guy pulls out a blade, or in my case recently, a hammer!

I'm not standing against some guy with a hammer, no matter if i could have kicked him in the head in other circumstances, thats just silly.
