So Pearce has cut his shortlist down to 80 players.

Those confirmed are:
Beckham (Galaxy) , Bellamy (Pool), Brunt (West Brom), Fletcher (Wolves), Bale (Spurs), Cole (Pool/Lille)

3 players over age of 23 can be inlcuded.

So which 3 over 23 players would you include in your squad? Beckham looks a certainty so it looks like it's the last 2 places that are up for grabs.

Pearce has to cut it down to 35 players by 8 June and submit a final squad of 18 players, plus four reserves, by noon on 6 July.

Will post up what squad I would go with after a bit of thought.

Giving a bag of youths that worshipped Beckham the chance to play with him in the first ever GB team can only be a good thing imo even if he just plays the last 10 mins of every game, him being there will be a boost for everyone tbh

Having Beckham will also sell them a lot of extra tickets. I've got no problem with Beckham going. Would be good to see the right players going though. I hope Dawson goes for us, would rather see him play than Jones or Smalling. Give these lesser known players a chance to play against big names and possibly make a name for themselves.

The squad will no doubt be effected by who gets picked to go to the Euro's also.
