...i just sorted all my kits (100%) clear claps hats snares etc, ready to start making music again, BUT, i want my drums to sound LIVE if you know what i mean, reverb just dont work no more, how can i do it?

best to actually use a pack of "live drums" like recorded ones from a drum kit instead of synthasised on a drum machine

id suggest doing the kicks and snare on step sequncer but playing the hats and extra percs live on a keyboard so it sounds loose and not automated.

failing that you could always just loop or chop up an old break

in FL8 that new plugin called Sound goodizer and Maximus are sick.

ill upload a batch of drum kits in a minute if anyone wants em. i got literally 1000s of kits.

download the VST pack called "classic" it comes with some real good quality reverb/phaser/compresser/limiter that can sound great when the drums are all put through a bus - using the club or bathroom presets on the reverb unit can make your drums sound live-o too

and playing some hats etc. on your controller works wonders biggup moony - I like to put some ghost snares in there too as well as filtering/distorting a drum track with automation then layering it up over the original
