ok so i know you burn fat and calories in your sleep and i know you burn calories while lifting, but how much more fat do you burn sleeping on days you train compared to days you dont? is it a big difference?

and i usually cant sleep for more than 5 hours, i've been like this as long as i can remember go to bed real late and wake up early. does this have an effect? how much sleep do you gym fiends get?

when I'm not working . i.e. leave, i sleep 10 hours, you burn no calories when you sleep, your muscles rebuild while you sleep

If only it was this simple, certain guys would go into hibernation mode.

lol.

whats the best way to lose stomach fat?

i've been drinking to much for too long and generally eating shit when i cant be bothered to cook anything i used to be kind of skinny before but now my belly's kind of sticking out. need to fix this before summer comes.

so far i've been going gym for about 3 weeks 5 times a day, doing some hiit on the rowing machine 20 mins at a time then lifting a few weights, haven't drunk alcohol in 3 weeks. The hardest part is knowing what food to eat and what not eat tho.

They say after a lifting session your metabolism speeds up for 24 hours or something, dunno how accurate that is but if it is true you don't burn enough calories to have ripped abs overnight so it's pointless trying to lose weight by constantly sleeping. If anything sleeping more would make you gain weight cos you're inactive and not burning any calories by doing your daily activities etc. Should have around 8 hours a night, after that you should be up and having your first meal of the day.

As for losing stomach fat carry on with your HIIT but lower your carbs and for meals have a combo of lean meat with veg/salad. If you do want carbs keep it to brown rice or sweet potato but try not to have it with every meal especially late in the day.

I'm going gym 5 days a week doing 2 days of weightlifting twice (chest arms one day then shoulder, back and legs the other), bodyweights and HIIT twice a week and then just HIIT on the fifth day

I've been eating mainly soup and chicken and cereal with unflavoured protein shake mixed in

If you wanna burn body fat you gotta work hard and eat less I've lost 2 stone in about 3 months whilst cutting some of it was muscle though but its gotta be done it the muscle thats left is much leaner and more ripped anyways

The average person trying to cut loses 1% body fat per month so if you work 3 times harder then the average person you'll lose 3% a month

edit: oh yeah burning calories in your sleep is bullshit btw even if you sweat your only losing water weight

edit2: smoke weed it increases your metabolism but be careful with the munchies

How many were you smoking a day? I could go through 3 or 4 spliffs which was a ten for me back when I smoked but that's at a push and I thought I was pretty bad but a quarter a day you must've been smoking them like cigarettes.

I used to put a whole 0.8 in my spliffs more time, would do this first thing in the morning and maybe less and less throughout the day, end of the day would strap another large zoot before bed. but in between spliffs i would hit quite a few bongs.

I know i sound like a cat

You do lose some inches around your tummy when you wake up, but not going to remain that way lol
