"There have been some issues, with some fans, about how your music has turned out. Many fans mentioned in the beginning of your career that you had too many knife lyrics, now it seems you've turned to a hip hop edge and softened down your bars, which has received some criticism. Does this frustrate you?

At first I was totally un-aware of it, it used to frustrate me when they used to say about hiphop I used to think ‘Are you having a f*cking laugh? have you not listened to my first mixtape?’ In truth on Leader Of The New School I was just making my music and I was thinking about b*llocks like showing my creativity, maybe that’s what people might have been talking about. All I know is I’m not trying to do anything now apart from be me, so if I want to talk about stabbing someone I’ll do it and I’ll do it for 15 tracks if that’s what comes to my head and that’s what happens everyday that’s what I’ll say."

big up Hypes, great interview, especially 'I didn’t celebrate, I didn’t bang my door, I just rang my people dem in the morning said Merry Christmas, f*cked off and played dominos'

He's an intelligent person, and props for his attitude about fans who have supported him

seen, so no exact confirmation? never mind

on the other note....the grimeforum portal/homepage thingy is malfunctioning since the article was added, the 2 previous articles have squashed together and are stretching the page out

You know what I did if you look in the quote above he truly seemed like he was just hungry for the music again many lose artists lose that hunger but I think being away from things again has gave him time to reflect like he said he thought even though he liked leader of the new school he could of made it harder. Only time will tell we heard a couple of beats that he's recently made and they are pretty hardddd.

My friend Raj from RWD was with me so he done another interview with him completely different to mine so expect to see that on the website in the next couple days.

Scorcher came across quite articulate, unless hyperfrank touched up the interview?

Why do you think people think it is?(Grime Being Dead)
Because some d*ckhead on the internet put up ‘grime is dead’ because they saw Nas do it, that’s the real reason. You’re a f*cking prick about grime is dead, suck your mum man.
==================================================

That could be interpreted as sending for logan could it not...

LOL Must be.........

But surely people are saying grime is dead because of a bunch of teenagers with studio time are recreating their fav dip set songs and calling themselves artists.....I swear that was the reason lol

beef with cooks is a bit old still, and I was going to talk to him about all that stuff which I do a touch off record. Thought I'd rather talk to him about things concerning him, if u get me. Thanks for the feedback tho.

Never that, he's a passionate guy... it's risky business 'touching' up quotes. A added word here and there can get you into trouble. Especially if you have someone talking about a sensitive issue.

lol wasnt a send. Just sometimes its bait that some1 has touched up an interview.

If you didnt then hopefully hes gonna make a good album.

Did he actually say anything about going rinse?

Did he actually say anything about going rinse?

yh wanna kno aswell, he seemed quite diplomatic (literally, i dont mean dipset and dem) in dat interview so no answers on is it gonna be grime or is it gonna be hip hop its gonna scorcher, u shud of push the conv like dat so he wud have to admit one of the ways lol

The amount of artist who dont talk about a genre and say they are just going to make music is ridiculous.

I dont know many artists who are truly diverse and make different genres

Hij

More time, the fans rep grime more than the artists themselves.
