Need to write an article for the college newspaper about the 'History Of Grime'..
Really need to give a good impression of grime to these mans cause I can blatantly observe that these people from my college are interested in it but do not know where to find grime.. Gona make sure I mention grimeforum still..
the request to the forum is if they can provide me with some positive events in the history of grime and/or ANY links to articles that have been previously written on this or a similar topic.
Thanx in advace still..
bless

Everyone uses encyclopedias for articles. You used the Grimepedia for any info yet?

That's a snippet right there. You can get some meaning from that I'm sure. I could if I wasn't in a 'cba' mood.

the history of grimes goes way back to the late 1980's with english mc rapping fast to hip-hopish dance beats.

Not really related to the question but still worth a look, a bit about MCing wqith an orchestra, so maybe you could link it in to how grime is adapting - more 'acceptable' form, real musicians in the scene, from raves to the mixtape etc

Fully grown that documentry was good, didnt ike the way it onyl showed Crazy Titch sentence at the end and not something about the succes of grime.

grime is a cultural uk thing, its like asking where sausage rolls come from and just saying its sausages and pastry.

yh to the posts above, its an alright doc - an American made the doc, but about the Titch thing I suppose it was related to lyrics or music, so I suppose it cements the film's points about 'the grime' etc
yh Jammer is jokes, as is the classist-tension, with the journalists 'doing coke in a bar on a friday night'
its a lot

Meh i feel the need to mention "What do you call it? Garage? Urban?" You can't write a history of grime without Wiley and that song :)
