crazy titch thing on youtube, is quite old but his freestyle over this with the pictures just made me reflect on a true legend in the scene no matter what you thought of him.

feel quite sorry for him when watchin this dunno why and i can't believe he got a 30 without parole, that shit is normally reserved for serial killers like. (he is fucked, but i also heard a rumour he is appealing but he ain't gonna get a retrial)

he could have been big, just watchin this made me think what if???

do others feel sympathy or hate towards him. he was a dick but a top grime figure

threw his own life away even if he maybe didnt do it. (not trying to create another "did he" "didnt he" thread) The scenes never replaced the energy he offered.

Tbh, titch probably would have been in prison for some other reason if it wernt for what happened. If he kept his nose clean tho, I reckon he would of had a deal by now easy.

I doubt it, you get deals through mainstream appeal or even just appealing to people outside of grime, I don't he could really do either.

The reason I said I think he would get a deal was because around the times of his 2 biggest tunes "I Can C U" and "Sing Along" I remember loads of kids shouting the hook's from both songs thru corridor's of my school. The school I went to was fairly middle class aswell. So I reckon he did have a good bit of mainstream appeal.

He got 30 years because the judge said he played a part in orchastrating the murder of that guy. basically, they knew they wouldnt find the actual killer and wanted to act like they were responding to the incident properly so gave Titch a harsher sentence than usual. still, he threw his life away.

i dont think he has mainstream appeal but he would have been a top Grime artist. boys in the hood were a sick crew until Doogz left. i gotta say i do miss his energy and crazy times vol 2 would have been jokes.

I was listening to Crazy on the train earlier and was thinking the same thing - that it's a shame he ain't gonna be around in grime ever again

by the sounds of thing he is gonna be in his cell for a long long time. to not be offered parole is as serious as it gets. he's fucked which is why the video i posted is quite sad/reflective, prob cause of the beat. he'll be out on his 50th birthday unless they review his case some way down the line

he would of got a deal but it wouldn't be mainstream everyone in grime has this belief that to blow u need to conform the general vibe of popular music but if ur good enough u'll go far - dizzee, kano, lethal

Dizzee, Kano and Lethal went far by watering down their sound to, as you write, "conform [to] the general vibe of popular music" not by keeping it purely grime.
