What d'you mean muscle growth with no weight gain?

ATB
20th October '11, 10:40 PM
I guess he means clean muscle gain or try to convert his fat into muscle. Basically you should take just normal whey protein which consists of at least 70% protein in it's serving. Don't take no gainers or anything like that.

Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Gold Standard is the best protein out there.

possibly but it creates a good mix, if u want to completely cut down you should be eating every 2-4 hours of pretty much just turkey/chicken and some boiled potatoes. thats what people who compete eat

Dont take anything he says seriously.

You cant turn 'weight' into muscle, you have to grow new muscle, by training and eating. Just follow p90x or one of them type of programmes if you just want to be ripped.

People just suggest oats because they are full of complex carbs, not sure about the oat clusters but if it is mainly oats then it should be fine to substitute.

How long do you put them in the micro for?

I'm still trying to crack how to make the perfect porridge. Keep ending up with porridge all over the outside of the bowl and hot milk inside.

Oats in the bowl with milk, micro for around three minutes. Stop halfway through to stir. Then when it's finished I add a little bit of sugar and some whey, mix that up. Eat.

Mr. Jefferies
21st October '11, 10:35 PM
have you tried making porridge in the saucepan? heat the milk then add the oats + stir, it's a different sort of texture to microwaved porridge though, more 'sticky' whereas porridge in the microwave comes out lumpy.

Tommy
21st October '11, 10:39 PM
I'll give it a shot in the morning. When I'm at work I don't get a chance to eat, so this morning I had a bowl of porridge, and two eggs. Then a shake just before I left the house.

Burden Durden

I always made my porridge in a saucepan. Used to add peanut butter, nutella or even jam to add some flavour. That shit is bland.

Noone was saying otherwise, what they said was muscle cant turn to fat and vice versa. Your muscles can shrink and the space left can be filled with fat but your muscles aren't turning into fat or fat isn't turning into muscle because it's not scientifically possible it's just one tissue is shrinking or growing and taking up space from the other tissue.
