O.Gs looked to have August locked down, with South London’s Little Dee launching Once in a Blue on Aug. 17 and fellow MCs P Money and Blacks tearing up radio sets and raves. Dee spoke to the Forum about what’s different with this release, his rivalry with Dot Rotten and who he’d liked to work with in the future. Dee, P Money and Blacks also joined old school DJ Cheeky to drop a free studio set and video podcast for Grime Forum.

Frankie of the OG Frankstah blog also spoke to up and coming East London MC Maxta about Lord of the Mics 3, knocking about with Roll Deep, Rinse FM and The Maxtape project. There were also tonnes of big hand-outs, including from hard working young MC Merky Ace, North London collective Marvell, and a third instalment from Left Turn Records featuring English, Jammer, C.Gritz, Badness and FloDan.

Revolver also dropped his Cruel Intentions promo, where he dealt with the sends he had from Wiley and gives away his refix of La Roux’s In For The Kill, which has had massive airplay. And one of the scene’s real unsung heroes, DJ Magic, released his first CD on the No Hats No Hoods label — and sent the Grime Forum an exclusive preview mix to put on the podcast.
